There are so many different products on the market, some big, some small, some expensive and some totally affordable. (Does that rhyme?) Let's be honest though...wouldn't you rather spend £2 on a groovy eyebrow pencil instead of £20 on the high end equivalent, especially if it was just as good, and maybe even better?
This post brings you my favourite drugstore make-up essentials, those that I prefer to their high-end twins. I've tried to incorporate a little bit of everything for you to have a look at, and hopefully end up loving as much as me, too!

Blistex MedPlus Lip Repair
BUY HERE - £2.30
I've always been a massive Blistex fan for their different range of products, but this one is an all-round angel. This Repair & Restoration gel contains:
Jojoba Oil (a liquid wax closely resembling human sebum, packed with all the vitamins and minerals essentially needed for our skin to be healthy. It's anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and non-toxic, so you can't go wrong.)
Cocoa Butter (this stuff is ultra-hydrating and contains a significant amount of polyphenol and flavonoid antioxidants, which will prevent dryness, soothe & fight signs of ageing!)
Menthol (this has a cooling effect on your nerve endings. If you regularly get sore lips, it will reduce the burning and irritation that I know drives you crazy)
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker XL Extreme Plump Gloss
BUY HERE - £10.00
This is a little collagen filled gem. Those too scared or too poor for lip fillers...fear not. This £10 babe will do just the job. I've tried many lip plumpers in my time but nothing has been as intense as this. It does exactly what it says: gives extreme plump! It does so in a natural way though, as well as giving a lovely shine that isn't too shiny. It isn't sticky at all and tastes super yummy. An overall winner!
Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner
BUY HERE - £3.99
Not only is this, by far, my favourite drugstore lipliner, it is also in my top 3 all time lipliners. It glides on so easily, it doesn't smudge and doesn't leave your lips with obviously liner lines either. The formula isn't drying at all and the roll-up type application is so great for ease compared to a sharpenable-type pencil.
New: Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour
BUY HERE - £8.99
O. M. G
I am obsessed. They're lightweight, and are so HD with such velvety colours available. They aren't overly drying at all which I have found with previous matte lip colours, and overall they are a perfect drugstore alternative if you're not keen to splurge on the higher-end matte lipsticks.
FACE
Sleek Face Form in Dark
BUY HERE - £9.99
We need to just take a moment for this. I decided to be brave and purchase this in Dark after two years of using Light. I decided to get this as summer and those bronzy days are coming up and I haven't regretted it a single bit yet! The application of this is gorgeous. It never creases and never congeals with my other face make-up. It has the perfect amount of pigmentation and it is so simple to create as little or as much depth as you could want with the 3 different tones in the palette.
Maybelline Master Contour V Shape Duo Stick
BUY HERE - £6.99
Although this hasn't been in my collection very long, it made it to my essentials. This thing gives a luminous finish, has a creamy texture and creates an illumination that would make even RiRi jealous. I love using this as a base to my cheekbones, cupid's bow, nose and forehead. The 2 in 1 design makes it so easy to travel with & top up during the day, plus using your fingers to blend makes the finish so sleek and smooth and super sassy.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
BUY HERE - £4.19
I don't really need to say anything other than ask:
Do you have it? Yes -> FAB
Do you have it? No -> NOT FAB...

Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner
BUY HERE - £5.99
Of all the liquid liners and felt tip liners I have tried and tested, this is my ultimate favourite. It's a game changer. A next generation liner. The 0.4mm brush tip allows you to create the most smooth, even and precise line, whether you just line your upper lash line or create a crazy wing effect. I've never had one of these dry out and the spring cap keeps the formula fresh. Love. It.
So there you have them, my drugstore make-up essentials. Totally inexpensive and totally in my basket.
